We are currently hiring for the following positions for the 2008 season:

All positions are open to both Full Time and Part-time availability.

Full Time: 30-40 Hours Per Week

Part-time: 15-30 Hours Per Week

Retail

Ever wonder what it would be like to work in a retail position? Valley Pool Sales needs self-motivated individuals who are outgoing and enjoy conversing with people. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve. Qualifying individuals will be expected to efficiently operate the Chemical Store and/or Valley's Pool Supply Warehouse. Applicants must be able to responsibly handle money and obtain knowledge of chemicals while working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment where customer satisfaction remains top priority. Qualified positions will be paid to attend product training classes.

Chemical Lab

Ever wanted to be a chemist? Here's your chance to see what it's like. We need self-motivated individuals who are outgoing and enjoy conversing with people. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve. Applicants must be able to obtain knowledge of chemicals while working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment where customer satisfaction remains top priority. You will test and analyze water samples using a precision testing lab to thoroughly investigate water problems. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve. Qualified positions will be paid to attend product training classes.

Parts Department

Think you got what it takes to help the do-it-themselves customers? We are looking for qualified individuals to help assist customers with their pools, spas and tanning bed repair needs. We need self-motivated individuals who are outgoing and enjoy conversing with people. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve. Applicants must be able to obtain knowledge of pools, spas and tanning bed parts while working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment where customer satisfaction remains top priority. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve.

Buildings and Grounds

We need self-motivated individuals who are outgoing and fit to endure large work loads. Individuals must be able to lift over 50 pounds and walk up and down steps and steep slopes, and in all types of weather conditions. You will be working closely to assist management, employees and customers with the transportation of products between warehouses, stores and to customer vehicles. Other assignments would include general upkeep of buildings and grounds with light duty maintenance of property assets. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve. Applicants must be able to obtain knowledge pertaining to their work responsibilities and be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment where customer satisfaction remains top priority. Applicants should have a drivers license with a clean record as you may be expected to drive company vehicles. Knowledge of driving bobcats, forklifts, dump trucks and front loaders is preferred but not necessary. You must maintain a positive attitude and have a willingness to continually learn and improve.
